Porcelain pictures have a long and rich history and are very popular at European cemeteries. One of the strongest qualities of porcelain is it's durability, obtained by baking it at 1300° C. At hese temperatures the porcelain becomes virtualy liquid, which melts all the air bubbles inside, making the product impenetrable for water and moist. This also makes the porcelain frost-resistant, which makes it extremely suitable for outdoor use and gives it the ability to keep it's characteristics for many years. When we manufacture the porcelain photo, the picture is baked into the porcelain at 900° C, making the enamel layer soft, allowing the pigments of the picture to be confined into the layer. This proces enables us to give you a 25 year warranty on color fastness and frost resistance.
